“The Power of The Void" : on November 26, artist Yulia Belousova have spend eight hours in a former water reservoir in the mids of natural area of Madeira in complete solitude — without food or water — exploring the limits of body and mind within an enclosed space, regardless of weather conditions.
The physical constraint of a concrete structure amidst nature becomes a metaphor for the artist’s inner dialogue — a continuous process of doubt, negotiation, and the search for connection between idea and reality, forming the essence of a creative day. This work is dedicated to exploring visible and invisible boundaries, and to transcending physical and mental limits.
